All of you who care about me, this is so completely dedicated to you. i love you with all my heart, and think you are all beautiful. parts this poem probably won't make sense unless you were the one who said it...

why is love so accidental,
so very unintentional?
why do we love people we shouldn't
or that maybe we couldn't?
why do we fall, heels over head
into a world full of beauty, wanting to drop dead?
why does our kitten
become so smitten?
and why does our sunrise
continue to surprise?
and why is it sometimes, we want to strangle
our beautiful angel (cuz she's so stubborn!!!)?
and why do our petals
seem to have nettles (yet we love them w/out fail)?
why do our the memories of the eve
float away on the breeze?
why do we love someone
we can't have, it is so done?
why can't we be bold
instead we conform, fall into the mold?
why is love so maddening
and at the same time, so gladdening?
