Lost Love Found

by JEFF   Feb 26, 2008

Slipping through the dark of night,
Floating on a path of fear and fright.
Longing for my life to be taken away,
The beast whose near, looking for prey.

My wife's life was taken the other day,
In these woods is where I stand and pray.
"You take her from me leaving me all alone,
As I stand before you my heart is of stone".

"You take her from me so my life is yours too,
Because without her I just don't know what to do".
My blood cooled down to a point of no return,
As he takes my life my skin begins to burn.

The pain slowly goes away my body becomes numb,
This animals thirst for hunger is slowly overcome.
Moving into the bright light where I hope to see
You standing there waiting... waiting just for me.
