For The Love I Have

by JEFF   Feb 28, 2008

Hearts laced in lust,
From passion we hold.
Longing for that trust,
This love made of gold.

I don't know what to do,
I know not how to respond.
This great thirst for you,
Holding on for that solid bond.

To me you're a gift from God,
One I hold dear to my heart.
For we're two peas in a pod,
Fearing that day when we must part.

For gold is strong and lasting,
Like that love we are searching.
To forever be apart of your life,
For my final question (Please be my wife).

Tell me you love me everyday,
All I ask from God as I pray.
"Let me guard and protect her here,
Giving her the love that I hold dear".
