I'm Not Gonna Cry

Why'd you go and break what's already broken
I wanted to tell you so much but my words go unspoken

The miles were too wide, the time was all wrong
So with tears in my voice I have to say "so long"

I fell way too far, way too fast
I know it's stupid, but I wanted us to last

But you have a once in a lifetime chance and I want you to take it
And even though this is killing me, I'll smile and fake it

I want you to be happy, even if it's not with me
So I'll paint on that smile, my tears you won't see

I'll hide this broken heart and let you live your years
I'll swallow my pain and bite back the tears

As the days wind down slowly, Im falling apart
I don't want to admit it but you broke my heart

I'm going to let you go and say goodbye
And no matter how hard it is...
I'm not gonna cry
