A dream, i dream

I'm standing on a roof top
looking down as a crowd sters
with a pistol by my side
i am ready to say my final good-byes.
good-bye to my lover who i never loved
good-bye to the broken household i called home,
and one final good-bye to the friends who berated me
with that i cock the pistol by my side
the crowd is motionless now
i pull the cold dead trigger
then i wake up in a cold sweat,
it was just a dream
