Just a Dream

by Latosha Conatser   Mar 5, 2008

Whatever sorrows we face,
Whatever heartache may come.
I know I found my place,
In a world so numb.

This world is like a void,
So desolate and alone.
I hear so much noise,
In a place I call home.

The screaming, the crying,
So hard to bear.
I'm so often sighing,
Because no one cares.

So often we cry,
So often we scream,
So many die.
Is it all just a dream?

This is a great poem, I love it!! Just a comment: because no one care, should be because no one cares. Otherwise, this is a great piece. Keep Writing!!
