The Duel

by Faithless Watermelon   Mar 7, 2008

I would love to leave this place,
But the only thing I fear is less than you,
I would stare It in the face,
But I would not give it me to satisfy you

Stand there and pin this on another,
Stay here and watch the world grow colder,
Sleep then and watch out for my brother,
All you have left is to become older

Keep to the wall when you can not see,
Watch your life when you feel a taint in the air,
I will keep an I on your crippled knee,
Never act like i would wait to dare..

Get out of my head,
All I wanna do is see you on your death bed,
All you need to do is make me see the red,
If only I knew this made you feel of lead..

Let's make this canyon deeper,
We might find something venomous,
I hope that what we find is my hidden sleeper,
If only the light could shine on us..

This is all a soliloquy,
One shrouded in validity,
One saturated with insanity,
Was it really because of me?
