Don't bother, we are already dead

by justhere   Mar 7, 2008

We watch the words float
As it is nothing in our minds
Forever the wind will blow
As we loose track of time

No example to follow
The clock ticks red
Spiting words and laughter
Sinking like lead

Our lungs full of water
Your mind full o hope
Tying our own nooses
Struggling with our own rope

Our courage is dangerous
Walking on glass
Nothing lasts forever
The present cures the past

It is a tragic ending
To a never-ending event
It is a hopeless adventure
Leaving you content

Promises can be broken
Pictures can be torn
Memories can be forgotten
Souls can be worn

This moment will fade
Words are useless here
This pen will run dry
We will forget every tear.

Nothing ever mattered
It is closer then you think
Struggle; is our burden
Cut the ropes, I rather sink.
