Say it Like you Mean it

by justhere   Dec 2, 2006

Say it like you mean it
Hold back your tears
Carry the weight
Bury the fears
Think before you act
Realize what to say
Unscramble the thoughts
Until the feeling goes away
Your heart doesn' break because it is broken
That' simply not true
It only feels like it breaks
Because you pull it into two
Wanting it to go one way
Forcing it another
Tipping the scale
Hard to recover
Your mind has splattered
All over the wall
Walking a tightrope
Afraid to fall
Hold my head back
Let the poison fill
Have another glass
Allowing the conscious to be killed
Feel the warmth
Smile simply, allowing to slip
Hold my hand
Don'let me trip
Embrace the uncertainty
As your sent fills the air
Bring me for seconds
Pretend that you care
Brush away my hair
From my sweat painted face
I am that dark ballerina
Stumbling for grace
Give me a shoulder to rest on
I promise I won't cry
Bury my conscious
Cancel the worry from my eyes
Give me the trust
I promise I won't break
But give me a chance;
And ill make the same mistakes
