Farewell (The inverted mirror or the tragedy of narcissism)

by Vlad   Mar 8, 2008

When curtains fell
We said “Goodbye”
To shining day
And silent night.
Our shadows dancing
Side by side,
Yet never mix, never unite.
Our hands so close,
Yet never touch,
Our glances joint,
But so apart,
Our love so real,
And yet a dream,
A mere illusion and a sin.
Yet so much beauty in our lines,
Such harmony in our minds.
And yet, great sadness covers us,
For we will never hold our hands,
Divided by a wall of glass.
