The Kiss

The stars are out and
it's quiet out. You are
with him. It is cool and
you're cold.

You say it is kinda chilly
out so he puts an arm
around you and pulls you
close to him. His body
heat radiates onto you.

You start making small
talk. You look at the sky
and the stars are making
a heart in the sky.

He pulls you even closer to
him. He wraps both his arms
around you. His scent is intoxicating
and you never want him to let
go.

He gently brings your face
towards his. You look into his
gentle, soft hazel eyes and it's
like your lost in the maze of love
and can not nor do you want to
find the way out.

Then he kisses you. Oh
how you have longed for
his lips to touch yours.

The kiss is magical. Sparks
fly from your lips when his
gentle lips touch yours.

You never want this moment
to end. But he pulls away and
you can see the embarrassment
in his face as his cheeks turn a deep
shade of red.

He told you he was sorry
because he didn't ask you.

Your response was,
"Don't be sorry just
put your soft lips against
