Sad little angel

by StandStill   Mar 14, 2008

The little angel
with the side swept bangs
lies on the floor
feeling guilty pangs

so full of regret
for such an innocent one
discovering life
maybe isn't so fun

she's wondering now
how easy could it be
to pull a trigger
that'd be the end of me?

the cold tile floor
that she lays on now
seems to whisper in her ear
fill her up with doubt

cold tears sparkle
down her lovely face
all joy in pleasure
from her memory erase

she wishes she could go back
when times weren't so hard
and start again
but this time, play the right part

but there's no going back
she's already on the floor
death is gripping her throat
enticing her for a little taste more

so the sad angel
picks up her knife
spills more blood
such a sad waste of life

but death continues to play
whispering in her ear
her heart gripped with terror,
mind seized with fear

the glistening knife
wet with her cries
lies on the floor
and she knows, this is how she will die

so into her skin
she slices once more
a sad little angel
dying on cold tiled floor
