To End Here

When I Say Look
To The Future,
Why Does Your Voice
Shake With Doubt?

When I Tell You Your Life
Has Not Fallen Through,
Why Do You Keep
Letting Me Down?

Why Is Your Smile
Faded Through The Cracks,
And Why Do The Doors
Keep Slamming Shut?

When The Pressure's
Closing In,
And The World
Is Spinning Fast,
Is It You I
Should Look To
For Pain?

And Though I
Want To Hold on,
I Know It's Not Right,
Do You See What Is
Spiraling Downward?

Staring In Eye
To Eye With The Devil,
With The Angry Sighs
Of The Heavens,

Do You Know
What To Choose,
Is It Life Or
What's More Important?

Should It Be
For The Love,
Or The Future,
Or For The People Who
Have All Given Up?

Do You Hold On,
Or Say Good-Bye
To What You
Have All Dedicated?

How Can You
Just Say It's Over,
Without Looking Back
For The Moment?

Try To Think Of The
Better, Not Of The
Worse, But Why
Does It Still Seem
To End Here?

I liked this one alot. Engel is right it didn't have an easy flow to it but poems don't have to have a flow, honestly i think poems are just short storys that have to make sense at least and this poem did, about how a friendship can just end without even looking back of what they are giving up. thats what i got out of the poem. :)

    keep it up
    keep on writing
    love always and forever.
