Emotions

by Katy Nicholson   Mar 16, 2008

When waves are blue, they appear black.
They crash against the shore.
I feel my rib cage tighten.
And the pain, more and more.

Then my emotions start a storm.
To the point where I can't care.
For all of those around me.
Who may've never been there.

Everyone has done wrong.
Yet somehow, I have done the worste.
To take away my thoughts.
You'd have to kill me first.

And sometimes, I die inside.
My mind, my heart, they stop.
Sometimes, all that I can hear.
Is that of a simple raindrop.

Maybe someone understands.
What I am saying means.
Cause' I sure as hell don't.
I'm lost in my own dream.

One that I cannot escape.
With every single tear I cry.
And I wait for the next.
Until the other one is dry.
