Your Mistake

by Alyson   Mar 16, 2008

The way you looked at me..
like i committed a crime
i know you will never forgive me
for what i did to you this time.
i promised not to say anything
and that my lips were sealed
but i know this couldn't be kept in
and your secret had to be revealed.
i only told him because youmean a lot ot me
Friend to Friend, Sister to Sister,
Now don't you see?
What you were doing was stupid
and i hope you see that now.
How did you end up making a fool of yourself?
Just how?
I told you to stop
but you kept on going
then i saw a cop,
and the opportunity was glowing.
Maybe now you will listen to me
Maybe this will end your stupidity.
All i hope is that this is put in your head
If it wasn't for me, you would be dead
My heart is already taken over by strife
and the vision of you getting into the cop car
will haunt me for the rest of my life.
