Am I Real??

I can feel the liquid running
Flowing endlessly through my veins and arteries
It's warm fluid that drains the chill in me,
Is this enough to prove that I exist?

I engulf the oxygen around me
As much as my lungs can endure
And release it as carbon dioxide,
Will it be enough to verify that I'm alive?

I can feel the thin flesh covering my body
That hides the bony figure of my being
That conceals the anatomy of a human
Is this enough to attest that I live?

Because despite of these all,
This tangible creature where I'm entrapped
Seems lifeless in your eyes...
And a helpless ghost in your arms
