Her Road [pt.1]

by Ixora   Mar 19, 2008

Damn tears circling, a smile upon my eyes
i saw myself fall again, against my willful tries
burnt by the fire, the disappointment remains
an all too familiar feeling, of up risen veins
too afraid to be happy, in terror of the pain
that all too quickly the knife will come to never leave again
wrapped in sheets of silk, she hides the blood with tears
finally giving up any hope of subsiding all her fears
glancing into the eyes but seeing only whips
she pushes up from the cement and watches as she trips
shouting now hopeless words, she just cant comprehend
why she must be the one to suffer, why *her* life must end
when these sinners get to smile, the hypocrites to love
and she is banished from the sun, unable to look above
she shakes her tiny fists, but the chains are all they hear
mistaking the broken melody, of a monster they adhere
god they say is singing, as they watch her fvcking smile
her eyes turn a dead gray, her throat fills up with bile
the days were harder, that they knew, but persisted to ignore
and so like smiles, they faked their shock, when they walked through the door
for curled up like the child she never was, peace had come at last
the blood kept them away from her, a blanket from her past
as floor boards creaked in protest, cameras persisted to explode
the letter floated in the blood, and they began to walk her road...

-I'm going through hell right now. This is exactly how I feel.
