Halfway out of my mind

by Tony Rifas   Mar 19, 2008

Standing in the doorway of the cluttered upstairs room
I tried to fight my way in with a garbage and a broom
VHS and pictures on the ceiling, walls, and floor
Memories I held so close, don't want them anymore

Put a tape into the VCR and press record
Overlapping now with all the messes from before
Wonder if I'll ever want to see these clips again
But still the chance to rid myself of them is all I comprehend
