Dream You to Life

by Beautiful Forever   Mar 20, 2008

How many dreams does it take,
To make a girl like you?,
Is it even possible to make,
Someone so faithful and true?,

Is there a reason I dream,
To bring you into life?,
Or is this just a scheme,
To make a perfect wife?,

Can I really control,
This feeling called love?,
Or is my soul,
Not descended from above?,

Will you even accept me,
If I'm not the angel you know?,
Could you ever see,
My feelings are struggling to show?,

If I really do dream you alive,
Are you going to stay by my side?,
Could you possibly survive,
After I decide to make you my bride?,

These questions drive me insane,
As I close my eyes and let time pass,
I don't even know if I'm still sane,
All I know, is that I dreamed us to last.

Aww so beautiful and so true. I can relate with the feeling of staying up before bed and dreaming of the "perfect boy," and wondering if he will feel for you as strongly as you feel for him or in your case she hahah. The questions of acceptane you asked were ones I've asked before therefore they took me back in time and I thought you wrote it nicely.

"If I really do dream you alive,
Are you going to stay by my side?,
    Could you possibly survive,
After I decide to make you my bride?,"

^eveything in this stanza just flowed flawlessly and the imagery made it complete.

Overall a great read for me and a wonderful write from you. Well done *5/5*
