Absense Of Pain

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Mar 21, 2008

She's lost within her heart
Falling from pure grace
Confused about love
That's abandoned and misplaced

She makes a small cut
Just below her wrist
Watching as she bleeds
The razorblade's relief

She's feeling so alone
On her wrists she drew
Watching as the blood flowed
From her razorblade tattoo

She smiles at the gashes
On her wrist that are written
The blood flowing swifter
From where the razorblade had bitten

The surge adrenaline
Coursing through her veins
Sweet is that numbness
And the absense of pain
