Waiting For the Sun

by Beautiful Forever   Mar 23, 2008

A tranquil mood sets the day,
The sun rises more than once,
Clouds scatter and fade away,
As the rays become our bunce,

The dampened earth sighs relief,
As steam rises from the ground,
Although this bliss is only brief,
Mother nature sings an ambient sound,

Creatures slowly retreat from hiding places,
Timid, yet curious to the new sensation,
Neighbors show their smiling faces,
Tired, awaking from the sleeping nation,

Our dreams and wishes have been heard,
As we watch the earths pain come undone,
The whole world unites without a word,
Because we've all been waiting, for the sun...

Vocabulary word: Bunce

    Amazing poem!
i love the way you put your words!
the way you stuctured your poem!
i like the meaning you are trying to send to the world, that we are all one, even though it takes a sun to prove that... (thats the meaning i got from the poem)
    keep up the good writting!
