Simple Minded.

by Teria   Mar 24, 2008

Simple Minded.

Words of coal,
blackened to death.
Awaiting a soul,
to be put to rest.

A voice too many,
to spoil the bunch.
Harms way is soon,
right after lunch.

There's not much time,
now hold me back;
At the drop of a dime,
I'll lose my mind.

Too simple minded,
to give a damn. . .
Shattered hope,
left in my hands.

Other than the fact that (BACK and MIND) don't rhyme. the poem was really very good.
I'm starting to notice that you don't write long poems and that Fine it's your style, I keep finding myself waiting to read more.
