Today

At last a new day has come alive
No more stress and no more strive
Hear the songs that the little birds sing
As even the autumn day looks like spring.

The happiness around has caste a spell
The blossomed flowers have spread their smell
A promising day is here to steal the fun
A new day has arrived to make everyone stunned.

Thank you God, for making yesterday a history
And making me realise that tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift to perform some new stunt
That is why we call today as 'present'.
