The City Of Sin And Lost Hope

by Amber   Apr 2, 2008

I live in the city with all the sinners
The city that has been burnt to
the ground, leaving nothing but
a big black moon shaped scar
in the middle.

I run to the pier
in hope a boat
will be afloat.
But my fear
came true, no
boat.

No way to save myself,
no way to escape for on
all sides I am surrounded
by water.

Water that shows me
no mercy nor any pity
as I try to escape from
the sinned city.

All the water does is
whiplash me forcing me
into the center of this
sinned city.

There I am back in
the center standing
on the slowly healing
scar.

I start to cry for next to
the black moon shaped
scar I saw a sign that read:
"Welcome to The City Of Sin And Lost Hope,
abandon all hope for you are stuck here until
you die!"

So there I lay on the black
moon shaped scar, slowly
dieing in
The City Of Sin And Lost Hope.
