Is It Still Worth It?

by Jenna Rose Kat   Apr 4, 2008

You told me to write from my heart, so here's what it's saying:

Is it still worth it,
To leave your land for mine?
Would you let it all go?
Would you leave your life behind?

Are you willing to give up your traditions?
Are you willing to give up your pride?
For if you had pride in your country,
What pride could you find in mine?

Do you want to start a new life?
Do you envy what we have?
Are you ready to give it all up?
In your country are you that sad?

Why would you leave your land behind?
How could you leave everything you know?
What is so much better here,
In the land where the "free" wind can blow?

In the land of opportunity,
What do we really give?
We'll make you a new person,
A new life to live.

If you still think its worth it,
To leave your land for mine,
Then into our borders,
But I can't promise it'll be fine.

Very partiotic. Proves you're attempting to understand the other soldiers point of view and still warning him you aren't giving up the fight. Lovely write.5/5
