Allergic to you

by Dark Secrets   Apr 7, 2008

New to my heart
A magical disease
Doctors said I was allergic
Turns out I'm allergic to you

Ears burning when I see you
My face is all red
My heart racing hard
smashing into my thorax

My tongue in twines
To the back of my throat
Holding speech from emerging
as well as my breath

My body shakes in a fever
I couldn't write if I wanted
My hands tremble and quake
and my body continues to sweat

If you approached I'd collapse
Of shortage of breath
Or I'd just stay still
As my heart comes to a halt

New to my heart
A magical disease
Doctors said I was allergic
Turns out I'm allergic to you
