Fairwale

Fairwale 3-29-08

After all of the hurt,
After every late night cry,
I haven't yet sit back,
And wondered why.

Why I let you in,
Why I believed in you,
How could you hurt me again,
After all that we have been through.

You say you love me,
You say that I am "the one",
Yet you are not around,
And now you say we are done.

You are no man,
In fact, just a boy,
You cannot do this to my heart,
It is not a toy!

The love we once had,
In your heart, has fade away,
But my feelings for you,
Are forever, here to stay.

Our few days together,
Were a bitter-sweet romance,
You pulled me back in,
My heart had no chance.

Then you ran away,
Without one goodbye,
I guess it doesn't concern you,
When you hear me cry.

You don't want to be around,
For this rough patch in my life,
Yet you want to be around,
When I have no strife?

You dont deserve my heart,
If you cannot try to heal it,
We aren't meant to be,
If the key to the lock, dont fit.

You were my first,
And my last,
I had you and held you,
And lost you so fast.

You will come back,
You always do,
Till then fairwale,
I still love you.
