As you walked away

by Gizmo   Apr 12, 2008

I forgot to tell you something as you walked away,
that i would miss you more than the moon would miss the sky,
i would miss you more than the night would miss the day,
i'm sorry i never spoke the words- i just forgot to say.

i forgot to mention how i'll miss the softeness of your lips,
then deep blue eyes that ive looked into for so long,
i will miss the late night telephone calls to say i love you,
and i'll miss lieing on bed listening to our song.

i'd miss standing in the rain at 4 in the morning,
and i'd miss them kisses when i open my eyes in bed
i'd miss your smile and i'd miss your touch,
but i can't tell you this to the back of your head.

i'd miss the things you done and things you said
and i'd wish forever to have found these words to say,
'that i'd miss you and i love you and please don't leave'
cause i guess i forgot to tell you something as you walked away.
