Ending it tonight?

Star light, star bright
first star i see tonight
i wish i may, i wish i might
take away my life tonight
i see the knife, it sees my pain
i smile as control i gain
one swift cut, one little knick
i can easily end my life quick
the pills, the blade, or do i mix?
will they rush and seek a fix
how long in my eternal sleep before they know
I've slipped away long ago
how often will they visit my grave?
how long before one of them cave?
how long before the visits cease?
before they know that I'm at peace?
will i finally make the cut?
take the pills, or make the jump?
i lock my door, turn out the lights, grab the knife
"Dinner time!" i hear them call
i drop the knife, "Coming!" i run down the hall
