Forget Me Knot

by David Paul   Apr 16, 2008

Oh holy December remembered by few,
Shine upon thyself a light that renews,
Everlasting faith promised by prophecy,
Lingering hope followed by hypocrisy.

Undying regret renders thoughts valid,
As rumors of less than 3 run ramped,
Sing in rhythm and dance out loud,
Try in vain to make no sound.

"Your naked inside," screams the angel,
All the while I see it's angle,
Leap onto a million steps of yes,
I might be wrong but it's my best guess.

Who is punishable under the law of God,
Yet casts others doubt with an iron rod,
Leave it to those who believe themselves free,
Once was blind yes still will never see.

The point is simple yet complex to the tongue,
Teach all lessons to the underlying young,
Then release the wild inside there soul,
Let them loose to choose control.
