Erik Solanas

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Apr 24, 2008

He went down like Giles Corey,
and lived like Andy Warhol.
As unknown as H. pylori.
Sacred like the Berlin wall.

Daring like the Right brothers.
As cultured as Alexander the Great.
A good guy like the Southers.
Handsome and sturdy like the Golden Gate.

Determined like Joan of Arc.
Inspiring like Helen Keller.
Rebellious like Rosa Parks.
He was a genuine old yeller.

He loved life like a holocaust survivor.
Always helping others like Mother Teresa.
Not afraid to take risks; was a sky diver.
Painting the world beautiful like Mona Lisa.

He was a freedom fighter.
A peaceful protest lover.
Was a life changing writer.
Loved to learn; to discover.

One day he simply vanished.
I saw, so to him my attention came.
From history was banished.
Even his grave has forgotten his name.
