I honestly only wrote this because the club I'm in needed some more entries for the titled poem contest. I could have done way better. I was very anxious to write another poem I was working on so this was a quickie.
We all have our ups and our downs.
Don't give up on life, just take it.
We all have our smiles and frowns.
Always say 'I can' not 'I quit'.
You can be a hero just by being alive.
Show that if you can, the others can make it too.
Do you not know you are helping your friends survive?
Don't you let the dark side win, let the light shine through.
Life's a roller coaster; enjoy the ride.
Be thankful that you have the chance.
It will rise and fall like the ocean tide.
Friendship, family, and romance.
