Kid with the Blade

by ForbiddenSnowflake   Apr 26, 2008

The rum won't take away the pain,
The razor blade is to blame,
For the pool of blood at my feet,
This life tonight I know I'll defeat.

As I sit crying in pain,
I won't have 15 minutes of fame,
No one remembers the kid with the blade,
I'll disappear to nothing in the shade.

In my coffin down six feet,
The mistakes of my hell I'll meet,
And as the darkness laughs in my face,
I realise I'll never leave this place.
