Our Spot </3

by XxBrokenInsidexX   May 4, 2008

These walls look so familiar
They make me feel so weak
I remember to fondly
..A tear drifts down my cheek

I see your face
But only in my mind
I see our spot
The memories rush back after I left them all behind

I walk over just to sit
I trace my hand along the bed
My heart breaks
Its everything I dread

...I close my eyes
I see you and me
Laying here together
Once so happy

Promising our love
With the greatest feelings we hope to last
Who would have known then
That that moment would just be a time of the past

...Just when I thought I was over you
Im reminded of the feelings I have hidden
Pretending to be okay for so long
Forgotten what we could have been

I feel an endless flow of tears
Roll down my face
I lay down
Remembering your warm embrace

There isn't a thing in this world
That hurts this much
To lay in our spot
....longing for your touch

This is a very well-written poem. The rhyming is very well put together. Good word selection and I can picture all of the things you wrote happening. Very descriptive, and sad, but so good.
