Trapped in Eturnity

by blackheartslove   May 5, 2008

An orange flame
Burning bright
Melting away
Her creamy white flesh
Just as the pain
Wears away at her heart

Her face reflected in the flame
Showing all that lies within
Hurt and betrayal
Anger and confusion
So many emotions
Locked up for so long

Finally the vengeance is set free
A thirst for violence
To feel the warmth
Of white-hot heat
As her head spins
And her eyes water
While her thoughts search to grab hold of something

The searing pain
The salty tears
It's all she can do
To hold the match to her skin
All she can do
Not to cry out in pain

But everyday
It's still the same
Just another way to cope
Just another day without hope
She's stumbling through the darkness
Her world lit by a single orange light

No one to turn to
Nowhere to go
She has only one friend
Who will never leave her
Who will never turn his back
And forget about her troubles

He's always there
Calling to her
Begging her not to leave
When the world walks out
He remains, holding her hand
And so she's trapped for eternity

Trapped in this endless cycle
That they call life
She wants to be free and fly away
But she's trapped within the pain
Stuck in her addiction
And so she's falling for all the world to see
