He Should Have Known Better

He thought I was going to cry over him
Oh What a silly boy
He thought it would hurt
But hay I am not even close to destroyed

He swore I would come running back to him
Praying for him to take me back
He should have known better
I'm way too good for that

He thought I would care
I didn't shed one tear
He thought wrong
The pain isn't an where close to severe

He swore he had me wrapped around that finger
Please, I was on my own
He thought I was to sweet to cheat
But Boy he wasn't cheating alone

He thought I would kick & scream
Instead, I happily packed
He thought I would miss him
Damn, He should have known better than that
