Do you know what you've done

by Samsara   May 7, 2008

You took my freedom away from me,
my happiness, my smile, my will to live.
You are a constant presence within my mind,
yet I cannot see you.
I feel and sense you all around me,
yet you are not here.

What gives you the right to do what you did to me?
To continue to torment me
everyday of my life.

How does one learn to accept a situation they cannot remember?
How does one learn to move on?

Do you know what you've done to me?
Do you realise the pain you have caused?
The day you came into my life,
it was changed forever.
Never to return to what it once was.

I live my life, reserved and in fear.
In constant terror tat you may one day reappear.

Do you feel any guilt or any remorse?
For what you did to me,
or the life that was lost?

Everyday is a struggle,
I've lost my will to live.
Everyone says it'll get easier,
but thats something I'm struggling to believe

    * Wooow this is so sad, beautiful and wise poem.. At one point in our lives maybe some people they felt the way u described..
Especially this line "What gives you the right to do what you did to me?
To continue to torment me" i think some of us also wonder sometimes...
    Life is always a battle!
    Good work 5/5

Very emotional write indeed. Just came out straight from your heart, right? Good one but the structure could have been better.
