Sweet Darling

by Kallie   May 8, 2008

Pacing, walking
Don't look back
Hopeless drinking
Find yourself
But how is that possible
When you have long forgot
It truly isn't plausible
Rest sweet darling
What happened to the one to catch you
Wherever did he go
You ask yourself "what am I to do?"
I'm sorry if I ever cried
But that's just how I am
I'm sorry that I lied
Whispered secrets, stolen treasures
Don't listen to the ones you know
Because honestly,
They are part of the show
Rest sweet darling
I will hurt you no more
I'll keep all the truths
Down in my core
Because I cannot stand the pain
Hiding in your eyes
That I know was caused
By my deceiving lies
I'll gather up my things
Leave before you wake
But please don't tell me
That it was a mistake
For if you do I fear
I will not have it in me to leave
And I will stay longer
And your heart I will deceive
I will continue to break you down
As I did so long ago
And instead of your friend
I will become your foe
Rest sweet darling
I do not wish that to be
Just let me leave
Its better, you'll see
