Rhymes You Do Not Sing

by Kallie   Jul 4, 2009

Oh evil temptress
Teach me in your ways
Tell me all your secrets
Like how you make them stay
Because with me they run
They leave me here alone
And at first its fine
They call me on the phone
But it never does last long
Soon we no longer talk
Tell me all you know
Take me for a walk
Lead me into darkness
Teach how not to pray
Please, please I beg you
I need this all today
I just want to be held
For as long as forever
You must teach me
I can't stop this endeavor
For I can't bear to watch
Them all walk away again
And I'm afraid to end up
Right where I began
Curled alone and frightened
A pathetic little thing
Teach me all the evil
In rhymes you do not sing

Very interesting...dark, evil images started to
emerge as I read this. Its like a soul caught
in darkness & embrassing it..good write.
