WAKE UP!

What if every time you inhaled,
Was one step closer to the death,
What if you realized this now,
And not on your dying breath,

Would you live your life different,
Would have taken things back?
What if you just realized,
Your body was attacked?

From a vicious disease,
Or maybe a cancer,
Would you then live your life,
Would that be the answer?

Everyone dies,
But not everyone lives,
Can you experience this world,
For all that it gives?

I hope that you do,
Before it's too late,
Before the life you live,
Draws and end to your fate.

    I love this poem sooo much... all true statements and I know I would change a whole lot of things. I think I will go out and venture more. Then again that may lead to some regrets:)

    First stanza you have "Is" and it should be "If"
    Other than that amazing

    I loved how you compared it to cancer. It's, in a way, very similar to it. (:
