Dear Michael,

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   May 9, 2008

Dear Michael,
I've tried many times before
to write a poem for you.
I can't take it anymore.
Tell me Michael, is it true?

4/25/2006 where have you gone?
That date is the last I have of your existence.
Could you be dead? Or just wanting to be withdrawn?
From my heart to yours, there will never be distance.

I'll never stop looking. I hope you know that.
Searching the internet and records of death.
I'll even stand on your parent's welcome mat.
Essential to know if you took your last breath.

I was just thirteen. It was so long ago.
Such great friends we became.
This poem is no goodbye. It's a hello.
Inside, we were the same.

So there you go. I've tried my friend.
Your disappearance has disturbed me.
I know I'll find you in the end.
You wished for death. Your soul now set free.

Love,
Jennifer

This is a true poem about a friend of mine that just disappeared from my life. He was a very emotional boy and was suicidal. That date listed is the last login date on his myspace. I found he had a myspace a few months ago and hoped I could speak to him again...Unfortunately I saw the date he last logged in. The best of wishes for his soul, dead or alive.

Wednesday, June 11, 2008: Michael returned. :) <3<3<3
