If it weren't for your love(Mother's Day Poem)

by Simply Rachel   May 12, 2008

If it weren't for your love I would not be me.

Going to school and being who I want to be.

Thank-you for all the love that made me, me.

For with it you raised me right, for all the world to see.

If it weren't for your love I would not have my dreams.

To take this world and, resew its seams.

To touch at least one life and make it new.

And this could not be, with out the love from you.

If it weren't for your love I don't know what I would do.

For its your love that makes my heart so true.

I've thought long about how I could return all this love back to you.

And the only way I could think of is by saying "Mom I love you too!"
