We Can Change The World

We just hide in the back and sit
and we know they don't mind a bit,
because were not bugging them
about how much He loves us and we love Him.
We figure if were quiet and good then they'll just know
so we just sit there and let them go
on with their lives, we let them continue to sin
because we don't want to argue with them.
Were too afraid to take a chance or
spread his love like its a cure for cancer.
We sit in the back of the room and let them die,
ruining their lives while their loved ones cry.
We don't want to take a stand so we wait
for someone else to stand up with the truth but they hesitate
thinking that someone will say something
but no one says anything
While our classmates are
dying
trying
to do something
anything
everything
that might fill their lives with meaning.
The whole time we know about His love
but we think saying something is going above
and beyond what He wants us to do.
We sit; thinking just being good is enough
not realizing who we can change
or even save with His love.
We don't even tell our friends that He loves them thinking that they'll hate us because we say we love Him.
But everyone around us is
dying
crying
trying to survive
because they're not happy with their lives.
We decide to hide and sit instead of seek
out those who need us, were being week
because were too afraid to shout out to everyone
and scream out to everyone
how much He loves us.
We only need to plant a seed because
God will do the rest
and even though we always care
if we never share
were not doing our best.
And no one wants to take the chance or
spread the Word like its a cure for cancer.
We know how to save everyone
and we know that its through His Son
but were afraid that if we tell them the truth that they'll argue with us
hurt us
persecute us
and we forget what He went through to save us
by knowing what we know we can save
someone
anyone
everyone
And change the world.
