Thank You, But It's Over.

by Kaitlyn Gilbertson   May 13, 2008

Ecstasy
Joy
Smiles
Placing upon me, the things I'd never really known.
Teaching me to simply cherish life, and every little thing in it.
Loving me the way you did, always made the ugly go away.
Honest
Kind
Loyal
Characteristics only dreamt of until you came through my door.
Feelings that I'd thought were only fantasy, turned into my reality.
You had every little thing a girl could want, or so it seemed.
Lies
Hatred
Fear
Words were being left unspoken as you departed from this story.
You had taken everything I was, it was all you wanted.
Tumbling down in defeat, my body slightly trembled.
Pain
Loss
Tears
Another ending now begun, but it's not the final toll.
Time had taught my heart one more lesson, and the show will go on.
There's nothing to see here though, nothing, except the few shattered pieces of my heart.
1
2
3
Here I trusted each of you, as you watched me fall, you laughed in victory.
For all the ways you've made me strong, and the ways you've molded me.
I do enjoy not being weak but everything has a point of ending.

Thank you, but it's over.

Now.

**this is now officially dedicated to the three special guys...who ruined my life.***
