Unsustainable Time

by Lemon Squeezy   May 14, 2008

Look not at what you used to be,
The present day's what you should see.
Forget the darkness of your past,
Those are memories you need to trash.

Look not forward at things to come,
For you can't be sure, that they'll be done.
I warn you now within this rhyme,
You ought not trifle with things like time.

Look only on what's here today,
Whether the skies be clear or gray.
Look not on the future or the past,
For time is something that will not last.
