Distance & Dimensions

by Wake   May 21, 2008

There's nothing left to remember
there's nowhere left to go
and there's nothing left to see
There's no more a 'you'
soon there won't be a 'me'

..The road , it stretches
..through the horizon
..The Distance , it remains
..so i close my eyes and
..try to look beyond the truth
..that in the end, it reaches you.

No memories left to realize
would it be worth for me to know?
When there is no body left
and there certainly is no soul.

..A cyclone wrapped around my heart
..An ocean so deep it swallowed the stars
..But spit out the stones , so here I stand
..Feeling incomplete , in what I am ...

This is yet another exquisite piece from your side. Each stanza so unique in each sense and yet when one reaches the ending, you're so astounding by what was written.

..But spit out the stones , so here I stand
..Feeling incomplete , in what I am ..."

^^I think this was the best part of the entire poem. It stood out the most and the choice of words just added immensely to the feelings behind this poem.

    Excellent work! 5/5
