Crimson Tears

Once so beautiful, sparkling in the sunshine
A deep blue river widns
Now it's black from betrayal and hurt
And it bleeds for her tonight

Salty tears it weeps alone
The sparkle washes away
This once so beautiful river
Is left forgotten and scared

It bleeds for her
Covering her sadness
Cool and refreshing on her skin
Washing away her hurt

Tears run out of the confusion
Still the river continues to flow
And so she sits on the banks of tomorrow
Waiting for the light to dawn

Th ship has sailed across the sea
It comes to a river so sweet
Binded by her emptiness
She bids them a tearfull goodbye

She is left alone now
To walk the shores in white
And so she fades into the night
Along with all these crimson tears
