Sacrifice

My body torn and beaten
I fall from the sky
The pains of the past rip me
And tear apart my insides

I can't remember
The life I lived before
My wounds now open
Will forever remain sore

My wings are tattered
My body bare
The world around me
Can only watch and stare

I've been chosen
To fight a war far greater than me
My battle is against all
The fire, earth, wind and sea

I'm just a girl
With no real story to tell
All I know is
I sacrificed heaven to fight for hell

This is a poem mostly to do with the book I'm writing, it's about someone giving up heaven, and falling, so they can fight for the earth, which is why they 'sacrificed heaven to fight for hell' ^^
