The Grievance of Goodbye

Saying goodbye to you,
Is hard to bare,
I just hope you know,
I'll always be there,

I hoped nothing would happen like this,
But this life is not good,
Its not your fault,
You did the best you could,

Theres only one problem in my way,
And it stands above the rest,
I need it to set me free,
So I'll get it off my chest,

Im afraid that I could not leave you,
It would make me cry,
That is the trouble,
With the grievance of goodbye

I know this sounds like a breakup poem but its not. its about leaving home and having to go to the opposite side of the country for better work and having to pretty much abandon your family and friends...which i might have to do
