I lay down at night
with tears in my eyes
thinking of what you could do.

A pill in your mouth
ready to go down
to forget the past you knew.

I see in your eyes
what you think
about the things you do.

A tear on your face
your friends laughing in disgrace
not caring what you do.

You look in the mirror
trying to find
the person you once knew.

I try to care
but you don't realize
how much harm to me you do.

So put down the pills
look around and see
all the people who love you.
